AFJROTC Community Service

Community service is performed by AFJROTC Cadets for the benefit of the public or its non profit institutions. All AFJROTC Cadets are required to perform a minimum of 10 hours of AFJROTC-sponsored community service per semester (but may do more). Cadets will receive community service hours for participation in AFJROTC-sponsored events including (but not limited to):

• Adopt-a-Highway
• Wharton Cemetary Historic Fence Restoration Project
• Campus Cleanups
• Annual Wharton Christmas Parade
• Veterans Day Events
• Wings Over Houston Airshow
• Wharton Chamber of Commerce Annual Wine and Arts Fair
• S.P.O.T.
• Color Guard Events

Active participation in AFJROTC-sponsored community service events is required for promotion consideration.
